"So, yeah, my car's breaks are messed up and I JUST GOT THE BREAKS REPLACED TOO, WHAT THE HELL? I was taking Russell home from Youth Group tonight and all the sudden I start hearing something weird with my car toward the back tires, and I hear it all the way home. My dad came out and looked at it, and we were going to take it around the block so he could hear what I was talking about, but I barely rolled a foot toward the end of the driveway before he was telling me to stop and saying something happened to the breaks. So my mom is going to drive me to school tomorrow because I need to figure out what to do: in order to park in student parking at QCC and NOT get a ticket, I need a sticker on my windshield. Unfortunately, that sticker is on my car and not the Jeep, and I don't have another sticker. I have to see if I can get some sort of temperary one to put on the Jeep until the breaks get fixed on my car or see if there is somewhere specific I can park where I won't get ticketed. I already have a parking violation that I haven't paid yet (I don't have the money) because I accidently parked in faculty parking instead of student parking (there's this one strip of parking spaces in the first parking lot that are specifically for faculty and the rest are for students--I got confused).

This is so inconvient. I hope the car can get fixed before next Sunday. That's the day me, Mandy and Lindsey are going out to Boston to visit Elly, and I don't want to have to take the Jeep. I don't like it anywhere near as much as my car.

Also, yes, I've been reading articles on homosexuality and Christianity again. I say "again" as if I've talked about this a million times before. Anyway... I honestly can't remember how I found this place, but gaychurch.org has some great stuff on rebutting what are called the clobber passages or the passages that most commonly used to say that homosexuality is a sin. The articles are short but worth while, and while I'll openly admit that I haven't read extensively on the subject, I think these are some of the best articles I've read so far. I'm honestly not sure why; there's just something I can't seem to pinpoint. Probably because there's no point in time where she completely rejects any part of Scripture, just brings all the verses into line with each other.

Although, I think it would have been nice if the article on Levitical Law had been slightly more in depth (I also suggest Religioustolerance.org's article on this same particular passage), though she did bring up some excellent points. And even if you're not interested in the article itself, there's a letter at the bottom that is absolutely hilarious and that I'm sure you'll all enjoy. "

So, yes. That's what's going on in my life today. What's up with you guys? How have you guys been?

EDIT: Ahaha! The car was actually able to be brought in this morning (my mom did that after dropping me off at college) so hopefully the breaks or whatever's wrong with it will be fixed by the time I get home. Here's hoping!

EDIT #2: HOLY CRAP. I like journal skins. I'm not sure how long this "enjoy any journal skin free" thing will last, but I love it!
